EFC Builders Selected to Build in Falls Cove
Troutman, N.C. – June 25, 2007 – Crescent Communities, owned by Crescent Resources, a leader in real estate development and management, has designated EFC Builders as one of its featured custom home “guild builders” for its newest community, Falls Cove. Located partially inside of the Town of Troutman in southern Iredell County, this community has two separate sections or neighborhoods, Streamwood and Parkwood. When completely developed, Falls Cove’s 900 acres will have 740 residences. Lot sales to individuals will start on June 30, 2007.
“Mature trees and natural streams in a country-setting add to the attractiveness of the home sites at Falls Cove,” explained Geoff Bowen, co-owner and principal of EFC Builders. Homes in this soon-to-be-developed community will range from the high $400,000s to $1 million. All will be designed and built in a “Southern Artisan,” architectural style which is a combination of Craftsman-style and Arts and Crafts architectural themes.
EFC Builders will break ground this July on its initial “ready to customize” home in Streamwood at Falls Cove. This will be the first of three planned homes EFC Builders will start in this community in 2007. The 2,821 square foot home will be located at 168 Ashmoore Circle (Lot 124) and will be for sale in the lower $500,000s.
When the community is complete, Falls Cove’s residents will enjoy a wide range of amenities including a family activity center, junior olympic pool, kid’s pool, tennis courts and sports fields for soccer and baseball, a picnic lawn along with an activity director for the community. In addition, Parkwood will have 60 waterfront lots for sale and will be adjacent to Lake Norman State Park.
“Last fall we purchased over ten acres of land in Troutman and moved our offices from Mooresville to here because of the projected residential growth taking place in this community,” said Bowen. “With the strength and leadership of Crescent Communities behind Falls Cove, our vision of unprecedented growth in this region is now validated.”
