We have had the pleasure of working with a couple this year who purchased a home that would be for his mother, a senior. The home had good “bones” but needed a lot of work.  It had not had any TLC in a number of years.

Old paneling came down, popcorn ceilings were scraped. A new laundry closet was created; the kitchen and master bath were redone completely. All new flooring, new appliances and fresh paint all over helped complete the transformation. Our clients surprised his mother on Mother’s Day with a very special gift of the home. What better way to honor your Mother than to provide a permanent home for her – in close proximity to children and grandchildren.  We enjoyed participating in the make-over and keeping the secret.  Maybe you can’t give your mother her own house, but…..remember her on Mother’s Day and throughout the year with the blessing of your presence and anything else you can do to help her, especially as she ages.
