Process Steps for Building a New Custom Home

Building your new dream home begins with your articulating your personalized lifestyle wants and needs for your new home in an initial consultation session with us. As a fully licensed contractor with proven construction capabilities, we listen carefully, and then we begin the process with you. Steps involved during the process are as follows with the interior and exterior finishes occurring simultaneously during construction and consistent communications occurring every step of the way.

PLANNING:

  • Every client, regardless of their personal circumstances, has the same key questions – what will it cost?  What is included?  How long will it take?  Our style is to ask a lot of questions, review the plans and the building site, and answer all these key questions.  Collaboration is how we get to the nitty-gritty details and agree on what is included and what it’s likely to cost.
  • Construction Agreement signed by the homeowner and builder
  • Interior and exterior materials and colors are selected

SITE PREPARATION:

  • Clear and grade
  • Break ground

FOUNDATION:

  • Dig and pour footings

ROUGH CONSTRUCTION:
